Well, we must not be "most users". I wonder if some of the problem is related to the age it's been stored. (They might not be bringing up the old free storage at the rate they are bringing up the paid storage.

I'm beginning to think that PB is using this "problem" as an "opportunity" to clean up photos of people who haven't paid for accounts. The only thing that stops me from thinking that is that alle's photos are missing and I believe she said she paid the fee.

How could it take this long for them to recover? They tweeted yesterday that
We still have some users who are still experiencing issues with their accounts. Our team has been working non-stop to resolve all of the remaining site issues. Until then, we hope you have a Happy New Year.
Anyway, Moonlighter's photos are back so I'll jump ahead three pages to give everyone something.

Before the site went down, I got a notification that I had too big an account for the level I was paying for, but I never got a chance to evaluate what to do about that--and ever since the site went down, I have been unable to log in. I get a weird "invalid capcha" error. Today I tried again and got the same error, but then a new message came up:

We apologize for the most recent site outage that continues to impact you. While our systems are coming back online, unfortunately, you are part of a small group of Members that are still affected and we sincerely regret any inconvenience this may have caused you.

We experienced a total power outage at our primary datacenter. Because of the abrupt nature of the power outage, our system wasn’t able to utilize backup processes to stay online without interruption. Many of our systems have come back online and we are making progress so that our site is available to all Members. The process for some Members has taken longer than expected and we are working diligently to bring the site up as fast as possible without compromising any photos on the site. Most importantly, your photos are safe!

I’m sorry, I understand your frustration as well as the hardship you may have experienced over the past weeks. We all rely on trusted digital partners to make our lives easier and when they let us down it’s irritating and disruptive.

We’ve learned a lot from this experience and we are taking major steps to prevent this from happening again. We continue to work around the clock until the website is fully functional for every Member and we will keep you updated as things progress. Over the next few months, our focus will shift to rolling out a new website and new mobile apps, built on a more reliable platform.

I'm not sure what I will do about this, if they ever un-screw-up my ability to even access their site. I don't think I can afford to pay more per month, sigh. But we'll see. In the meantime, I can post Mick pictures from my imgbox account. Nyah nyah, PB! :tongue:
