Terrific interview, Lilly! He's such a darling and it will be fantastic seeing him again next month.
Thanks for asking him the Sleeping Beauty question! It definitely makes me angry that kind of stuff isn't on the DVD, but pfftt, there's nothing we can do. Unless we go into the Moonlight vaults and steal all the footage. LOL
Wait...I'm not kidding.
He says Dude more than Hurley on Lost.

That was fantastic Lilly! I loved this...
But the best part for me was Lilly on Lilly...
Jason: It was a happy coincidence – and originally we had it scheduled on the driving range, so it was going to be like, you could take full swings. And then they moved it inside and we had the little putting machine. But I made it! I made it, you know. I don’t know if anybody caught it…
Lilly: Well, we saw that – but we didn’t know how many takes that took…
Jason: One, baby, one!
But the best part for me was Lilly on Lilly...
and especiallyLilly: Yeah. (so profound )
Lilly: Gotcha. (another brilliant response on my part - oy )
Thank you TugaFanatic for my brilliant avi.

Oh man, what a CUTIE!!! Lilly, you did a great job, honey--take a bow!
You can tell how much Jason likes golf from the expressions on his face, both as Josef and as himself... and his attitude toward golf just makes me smile. I can just hear the warmth in his voice when he talked about golf being a game you can never win... and he meant that in a positive way--meaning that he enjoys the challenge of golf and looks forward to playing it as an old man. Sooooo cute. (And speaking of cute--I really, really hope he does put a baby-seat-in-the-golf-cart picture up on his website!!)
Oh--what a lovely interview. Thank you soooo much for having the idea, and the courage to contact Jason's people, and the kindness to share with all of us.

Re: A Conversation with Jason Dohring - about golf - 5/19
I just want to add -- what an incredibly good sport Jason was to do this. When I contacted his representatives, I had identified myself as a mod here and requested a written interview. At the same time, I submitted a few questions. I figured, if I got very lucky, I might I hear back from the rep with a couple of answers that I could post. Instead, I got a response from them that Jason would be happy to do the interview -- but that he'd rather do it on the phone.
As for how he sounds -- he sounds like Jason, a patient, easy-going guy who speaks with loads of enthusiasm for life. I tried to transcribe our conversation as faithfully as I could, so that you could hear that joy he has for what he does.
After speaking with him, I found myself thinking back to that survey he had up last year. One of the question on it was "If you could use one word to describe Jason Dohring, what would it be?" One word popped into my head immediately when I answered the survey and it's stuck with me ever since.
The word is "sincere."

Lilly this is such a fantastic interview.
I loved the Sleeping Beauty question and answer - thanks so much for including it in the golf interview.

For me, in the one adjective contest..."sincere" is duking it out with "nice" and "sweet."
Oh, yeah, and "adorable."
His joy and enthusiasm just shine through. It's lovely to see.

Sure the packaging is great (trust me, I'm with you on that...) but somehow it's the personality that really seals the deal.
Handsome is as handsome does, you know? And as far as I can tell, he just couldn't be much nicer.

Lilly, what an awesome interview!!! So cool! WOW, I am so jealous of you right now--I'd die if I ever got to talk to Jason.
AND CBS?!?! You filmed the scene and didn't put it on as an extra on the DVDs!?!?! I would kill to see that scene.
Great interview! Words that come to mind when I think of Jason are 'Classy', 'Sweet,' 'Kind' and 'Sincere' definitely.
