I am so pleased you came by to re-read this one, Maggatha . . . this is my first ML story and it will always be a very special one to me. And oh yes, how true that only the present tense will really do for our beloved Mick! So glad you were caught by that detail of Mick and Beth slowly finding each other; after MC (and not knowing if there would be any more eps at the time I wrote this) it seemed so necessary to find a way to bring them close again . . . .
