ahhhhh...you have a gift for nailing Josef every time.

Once Beth knows, it is a fact for all eternity (because when Josef knows that Beth knows he'll worry about it forever!)

Fancis

:rolling: :rolling: :rolling: I remember this.

Snort, giggle.

The universe definitely has a sense of humor.

It was only a matter of time before Josef got to take an up close and personal tour of the tarpits of his own. I'm just glad it wasn't a fatal one.

Will he learn his lesson?

I'm thinking, nah, but he will have Mick and Beth to remind him periodically.

And they will.

Thanks

Jenna

Those foolish, foolish people, to leave a job like that half done.

If they're smart, they went straight from the tar pits to the airport.

AussieJo, it's not nice to tell on someone! Now I'll have to find a way to appease Josef. Hmmm, I don't have a tasty blood type (only Guillermo loves my type). I'm a Cleaner but I fear that won't help. We don't have tarpits but I guess Josef might find something... now I'm afraid. :2eyes:

You guys, you have so many talented writers here...so much gift...but your comments are a treasure on top of it..Come on, give our Francis a chance here... I wonder who would leak that to Josef... and why.. francis, get a plane to Athens, too sunny here, he can't find you, besides, greek vampires are a menace too, I ll hide you, dear! :snicker: 'cause I really enjoyed Josef losing some ground, in dirty clothes in front of Mick AND Beth.. :yahoo:

Oh my -- poor Josef! Well now Mick and Beth have something to hold over his head to counter the millions of things he has over them, I'm sure. Turnabout is fair play, as they say! But yeah, his accountant, her bf or husband -- whoever -- and Josef's rival better be packed and on the move. I'm sure his revenge will be swift.

Reading this again, I am thinking about Josef's next move.

After the shower (and probably buying some clothes--surely not off the rack), I'm thinking that Ryder will get a call and maybe even Logan. He has had four centuries to hone his getting even skills, and while I'm sure he has been in similar positions before, he has learned how to turn them to his advantage.

These small time opponents don't, I suspect, know who they are dealing with and will probably be getting a lesson soon. It will take a bit of the wind out of the sails of anyone determined to tease him when he winds up the ultimate winner in this game.

Wouldn't bet against him.

Fabulous reread! Thank you, Francis!!

So glad Carol popped this one back up. I love it... there are so many wonderful ways things could go from here. :teeth: But all of them will involve severe teasing. :snicker:
