Whether they're the heads of dysfunctional families or vampires trying to survive in modern times, I can say with certainty that I'd set my Tivo/pay $10 to see Jason Bateman or Alex O'Loughlin in anything.
And that's good since both fellas have a bundle of projects in the pipeline. Jason, who has already co-starred in four films this year ("State of Play," "Invention of Lying," "Couples Retreat" and "Extract"), shows no signs of slowing up with one more to come in 2009 ("Up in the Air") and two in 2010.
Alex is currently kicking ass, saving lives and taking names on CBS' "Three Rivers" and co-stars with Jennifer Lopez in next year's "Back-Up Plan." Luckily for his loyal fans, it doesn't seem that Alex asked for much in the way of wardrobe in the romcom.

And a much better ensemble than he wore to the TV Guide thing, in my humble opinion.

Oh sweet baby Jesus in the manger...
I agree with Alle - this COMPLETELY makes up for the TV Guide thing. Love the tie, the vest and MAN, do I like the turned-back cuffs on the jacket!
Now if you'll excuse me...I'm going to go stare for awhile...

It seems to me that he knows exactly how to dress, but sometimes chooses not to bother.
Or maybe it was a dare by his costars of TR to go to the TV guide party dressed like he couldn't.
edited because I got the event wrong

Re: Alex arrives at the IWC Michael Muller Watch event
He rolled his coat sleeves back, jmc--the lining is kind of poofy and looks bunchy. I don't really know why he did it, unless it was to show off the watch. I wonder if they GAVE those watches away?! Oh, why is it that the rich and famous get all the good stuff??? (OK, taking off my jealous hat now...)
Y'know... I wonder if you're right, francis?! That TV Guide event outfit was so preposterous, maybe it really WAS an attempt by Alex to make fun of the "sexy" thing?!

I read somewhere on a german fansite that Alex collects watches. He seems to have fun with them.
What kind of event was that?
