I'm with lila. I *loved* Josh's outburst and Carl's embarrassment.

Beth was pretty cool under pressure - just like she should be. I can *feel* Carl and Josh's frustration building - they aren't stupid. They know something's not right. They just can't get a grip on what it is - every time they think they've got something tangible, it melts away.

I just started reading this. Very interesting a/u you've got going here. Mick's story is unraveling. This is probably what would have happened in ML, if they hadn't just ignored plotholes you could drive a Mack truck through.
