She's his mother; she's his grandma; she's a questionable dresser; she's a clever, job-securing, evil mastermind... :dizzy:
I also think she's kinda cute... more reason to lose the shawl. Be cute, cutie girl... look who you're representing!
We're all agreed she's lucky.
And if she takes good care of him, so is he. Lord knows he needs some peeple.
So rock on, honey...

Yeah, she is kinda cute, but good lord, what a job!!

I know it's the wrong time of the day for the ladies across the pond to be online, but does anybody know if there's going to be some kind of red carpet affair in London that we can tap into?

Would love to see the highlights of the London premiere, even if it's only in pictures.

And Fleur, we're up to 15 pages and the movie hasn't premiered yet. By this time tomorrow night, we're going to be up to 20!!

I am sooo staring down crazy deadlines tonight, but could not resist popping in to catch up on this thread... you all are far too entertaining and at the rate you're adding pages to this thread, if I don't keep up, I'll never catch up! :giggle:

:notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy: Oh ALLE!!!!!! :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy:

I'm soooo happy your birthday week has been so outstanding! One for the memory books! And thanks sooooo much for sharing your "Alex time" with us. Your reporting has been so much better than anything the paid professionals have done, and as if that wasn't enough, I about fell off my chair when I finished your lovely write up and scrolled down to see that you shot and posted VIDEO! You are really too good to us! Massive amounts of good karma coming your way, woman!

 And dear Fleur, scroll back thru this thread... I'm afraid I have dibs on the white-shawl chick's job. :rolling: However, since you were so kind as to offer everyone total access to Alex if you were to "assume the position," and in the spirit of Alle's generosity example and Grace's constant lament about Alex's lack of competent "peepz", how about if you, me AND the white-shawl chick "handle" Alex? :rolling: :rolling: :rolling: The more the merrier, I say! (but I get the good parts... dibs and all, ya know? ... and yes, Alle, that includes his brain, because that's where his lovely personality emanates from ;) ). But Fleur, if you ever again mention Carville and King as movie leads, I revoke this offer! :snicker:

Also, Grace, thanks for posting the links to the other coverage! So much Alex goodness, I'm so happy for him - he is really enjoying this. He so deserves it after the ML and 3R disappointments he had to deal with. It's great to see that ear-to-ear grin again!

Finally, Red and all you UKers, I have my fingers, toes and eyes crossed for you that you get some Alex time too! You deserve to get out from under that ash cloud and see some lovely "sights." :teeth:

In one of the early BUP interviews, he said he had an assistant named Diana (who suggested to him that BUP is screaming for a sequel)? Could "the chick in the white shawl" be her?

Diana seems like a really nice, competent lady who has a great job. Of course it's bad luck that she got the job that grace and fleur and everyone else essentially wanted to have. But you could comfort yourself with the thought that at least now he has people.
I saw the secret handsign too. Smart thing, that. Makes it possible for Alex to get out of situations that are either too time-consuming or awkward without having to dissappoint the fans. It's just never his fault this way. :twothumbs:

I hadn't seen that little hand gesture, but yeah--it's absolutely there! Good for Alex and his assistant to have a little signal thing going. He's such a sweetie. He gives a LOT more than most people in his position do. We should all be grateful to him for what he is willing to give us in terms of his time and his personal space.

I may be getting way too new-agey here, but I swear, if it were me, my poor aura would be in shreds if I had to deal with all the uninvited hugging and cheek-to-cheek moments that he has to endure. I don't know if I'd be able to stand that. I have a pretty broad "personal space" limit, and he is always getting his invaded by friendly, but clueless fans!!

And at that point, I'm going to lock this thread up and start a new, spoiler-friendly thread.
