It really is. And may I put in a plug for Shadow's wonderful In Between stories? She does such an amazing job of explicating what we see, and connecting them together in such a believable and sympathetic way... and she has woven in a separate story too. I love them so much! The one between 8 and 9 is fabulous!I know... the shame in his eyes as he walks away is heartbreaking.

It makes me cry, too - they both played that scene SO beautifully (and ITA on the song - perfect).
On the subject of songs, does anyone know the song they used for the scene where Shepherd is being brought from his cell to the execution chamber?
