Shannyn has a new movie coming out in limited release on June 26th. It's called "Life is Hot in Crack Town" and it looks to be pretty gritty. Here's the trailer.

The little clip does not make it seem that she is in it much... but you can never tell just by the little clips...

Doesn't look like my kind of movie! I have to admit I am sooo sick of rap music being in these types of movies, turns me right off!!!! Before anyone starts throwing tomatoes; I do like some rap music but the fact that they seem to equate rap music with gangs and broken people is too much pigeon holing for me!!!!

Looks like not too many people are going to get a chance to see the movie. It opened on June 26th at one theatre in LA. Looking at that theatres web site, it isn't playing any more.

I've just noticed that Netflix says that it's going to be released to DVD in August.

I finally saw this movie. It was waaaay too gritty and depressing for me. Shannyn was in about three or four scenes throughout the film. I had to wind up fast-forwarding to her part.

I always like to see Shannyn, she does all different kinds of roles but this movie in general was not for me.

I don't understand why her career hasn't really taken off. She so beautiful and she has a certain savvy sassiness to her that's just adorable.
