Re: The Ringer (Episode Seven)
As far as Josef being the head of the L.A. vamps, I think it is natural that things gravitated toward that because (a) of his age--you don't survive for four centuries without picking up a trick or two and it seemed to me that vampires are very conscious of and defer to age; and (b) that natural twisting of the golden rule--those that have the gold make the rules

See Jen, that's the great thing about fanfic - and this board. We all can share our various interpretations of things. Isn't it great to see things from different perspectives?

It ain't canon until they've shot it (and aired it) - I said that.

Isn't she just a master of the head games? Note to self. Don't get noticed by Coraline.allegrita wrote:Oh, yeah--she's throwing clue after clue after clue his way. And he's SO sure she's Coraline--till he doesn't see the tat. But surely he'd be able to smell the makeup... if he wasn't so darn rattled, that is...

Nutmegger, ITA
Can't tell you how many times I have read something on the boards and never have had it occur to me before, even though I have watched each episode more times than I probably should have.
Another point of view can open up an entirely new perspective on a scene.

Re: The Ringer (Episode Seven)
This was a fabulous look at the personality of Mick's Sire/wife/former lover
On the first glimpse, she seemed attractive but not consumed by her looks as some good looking people are; she was perceptive and intelligent but not afraid to pursue a truth or picture. She was confident without being arrogant and friendly, but not overly so.
Then, in time you got to see how she used people and tossed them aside after their usefulness was gone. At the end of the episode in Buzzwire, Beth attempts to reconnect with her and Morgaline turns away and her facial expressions reveals nothing.
At all.
