I'm surprised no one mentioned the opening sequence when Mick woke up in the new bed downstairs in his Loft. I guess he is really into the term 'livingroom'

Then, there is that lovely little scene when Mick asks
Beth to come over for dinner as, 'he thinks he has figured out how to work the oven'

And Beth is so thrilled she does that cute little nose scrunch.

It is visually odd but I suspect the director may have wanted to go with Mick feeling "frozen" as in slow or stuck in molasses.

I love that Mick finds the prospect of death by falling from a building "exhilarating."

When he says "It's kind of exhilarating," I want to smack him. And I'll bet Beth does, too.
