^
Well, it says "in all its various forms and styles..."
I'd love to see them in the Hi/Lo Fest... that's one of my favorites and I know the guys from Killing My Lobster because one of them used to work in my corner coffee shop so they all hung out there all day. I'm pretty sure SFS would qualify for the "low budget" part, just not sure if it's "high concept," but the Killing My Lobster guys are sketch comics so I know a comedy flick would fit right in (and the SFS guys might even know them, since they're sketch comics too). Kismet I tell ya, it's kismet!
Okay, since I'm starting to sound really "campaign-y" and we don't do that here, I'll mod myself and shut up now.

Thanks, HM. That's quite a list.
Actually, San Francisco has been a much-requested venue and I believe they're working on it. Timing may be an issue, but it's definitely on their radar.

Oh, I think your town definitely rates more than one horse, honey.
Hey, I'm going to try to see it at the FirstGlance Festival... you could come down...

Re: Searching for Sonny - part 2 - World Premiere
Hey Everyone - I'm back from the world acclaimed Boomtown Fest in beautiful Beaumont.
First, I figured out that the "boom town" part came from the fact that the very first gushing oil well was struck just outside of town.
It was wonderful to meet Lucky and Mr. Lucky - maybe even more exciting than the film festival. Always wonderful to meet fellow moonlightaholics.
Now, about the movie. I loved it! Definitely a good time. And Lucky is right; you have to listen closely because a lot of the humor is in the very snappy dialog. I thought Nick stole the movie. Lucky thought that he did lots of ad-libbing.
I went to both showings and probably would have gone to another if it were available. I also did lots of sight seeing both before and after the festival. (That explains why I'm just back today.)
OK - I'm off to catch up on all the other threads.
