Oh but I love Mick's box of memories, and him showing those to Beth.
Wonderful romance, which makes it even more powerful when time starts to run out. With Beth, I could just feel that sick lurch as she realized their time was almost up.
Love how Josef is taken aback by how much he's going to miss Beth, and by the promises he's made her.

Chapter after chapter I feel that I can take no more..no more crying or heartbreaking. But look at me ,still going strong..

They found a way

- how did they ?- to share all that romance and love and essence in such little time! Mick's box of memories was like a hammer that broke down all my weak defences

And now they are apart..and Josef has to be there for them both, and fix it all! My bet is on him, but still..so much pain. For a sentimental story, it is really, very powerful!
