We decided, in keeping with the theme of "5," to ask Trevor five quick questions....
1. On September 28th, it will have been 5 years since MOONLIGHT debuted on CBS. Are you surprised that the little show that played for only 16 episodes has lived on in fans' hearts as it has?
It never ceases to amaze me that those who love the show continue to love it even as time goes by. As a writer it's really wonderful to see others embrace your creation and love it as much as you do.
2. What is your favorite MOONLIGHT episode or favorite moment of the series?
My two favorite episodes are Fever and Sleeping Beauty. The first because of the moment when Beth lets Mick feed on her and because it was the first ep that really felt like the show Ron and I had hoped to create to me. The second (Sleeping Beauty) because Ron and I got to write a script in the vein of what we had hoped to do more in the show, and tell a story that spanned time and revealed the interesting back-stories of the characters who had existed for so long...
3. If you had been able to usher MOONLIGHT into a second season, what one moment would you like to have seen realized on the screen?
I'd always hoped to build the story to a moment in which Beth asked Mick to turn her. And then see him confronted with doing the thing he most fears and most wants...
4. What 5 words would you use to describe Mick St. John?
Charming. Loyal. Tortured. Trustworthy. True.
5. And finally, what 5 words would you use to sum up MOONLIGHT?
Romantic. Human. Dark. Sexy. Powerful.
Thank you, Trevor, for sharing your thoughts with us on this very special anniversary!
