Thank you all for the lovely comments. It is so much fun to go back and reread both the story and the comments.
It was wonderful to be able to write a piece that still rings true to the essential character voices.
I'm hoping to watch the episodes again and write a few more stories.

Here in the States, we are right on the cusp of the Holiday Season and this wonderful little fic fits right in!

Mick and Beth are in that early stage of their relationship, enchanted with each other but still very much involved in their separate worlds. It was a mixture of charming and uncomfortable and all kinds of wonderful!

Thank you for this lovely tribute to the early days!
