Oh, I remember this one so well--I loved it because I think you really nailed some of the problems Beth and Mick would have upon moving in together. Their styles don't exactly mesh, do they?
But when Josef helps them both figure out what's really important (geez, Beth, you should have replaced that bed a long time ago!)
they can finally begin moving forward together instead of miscommunicating, and working at cross purposes.
I would have loved to see this scene on my TV screen.

I'm having so much fun rereading the Spring Cleaning Challenge stories!
This one feels very real. Moving in together is always a bit fraught, especially when one person moves into the other's established space. I'm glad Josef stepped in to help Mick see how unreasonable he was being. The ghosts of the exes are being very loud at the moment!
