I don't think my feelings over ML being cancelled will ever dissappear. No matter what Alex does and no matter how good it is I will always miss Mick St John and Moonlight. It will always have a place in my heart (along with the hubby and 3 daughters!!). There are so many what ifs's out there. If only it had been promoted better. If only the writers strike hadn't happened. If only JS wasn't involved. If only it could have been given the 2nd season and joined the Twilight bandwagon. Yeah - it does make me sad but lets hope TR gets picked up and it receives a bit of the luck that Moonlight seems to have missed out on.

I agree. I love Alex, but what I will miss is seeing him as Mick, vamped out. To think I will never see new episodes of my Mick vamped out, well, sickens my heart! That is what I will miss most!

So, I'm just goin to say "ditto" and echo everything you so eloquently wrote in your post. Moonlight and Mick will live on in my heart forever! Doesn't mean I don't have room in my heart for Vincent, Andy and Stanley.

Whenever I get bummed about ML and Mick, I thank my lucky stars that they are now bringing me Vincent, Dr. Y ( or J or whatever) and Stanley from BUP.

to MS for starting this thread and to alle for summarizing so many of the things I love about Moonlight. Thank goodness for the boards and the fic and the dvds.
I support our cast and crew and writers and designers in anything else they may do and actively search out their past performances but it's not the same as Moonlight. Without Mick, I would have never known Kevin and now Vincent. Without Josef, I would never have seen Logan.
