You are more than welcome, sweets. Kinda quiet tonight. Cassy and I are both missing Josef..he's on a business trip to Ireland. It's lonely without him around.

Hey! HI!!

How is your trip going? What's the weather like?
I'm having a good time. On and off Rain but it's not cold like NY. Did a lot of walking today. Currently in Austin moving to a new city tomorrow.

Well now, I'm sure Josef wouldn't want you ladies just moping about the mansion. What do you say we visit a bit? We can sit by the pool and you can tell me your favorite Josef stories.
Carol, you can tell us about your adventures as well (if you feel like it).

I went from Houston to the Blue Bell Ice Cream factory, saw Miniature horse farm, went to an Equestrian Center and saw cattle cutting and went to a Cotton Gin and got a tour of the State Capital in Austin, all since 7:45 this morning Whew!!! I'll be going to Fredericksburg, San Antonio, Corpus Christi and Galveston.
It's a whirlwind.

That sounds cool! What is cattle cutting?
Did you get to see the cotton gin working? How about the Capitol?

I wish I understood cattle cutting better and I saw it today. LOL! Cowboys on horses pick a cow from a herd and they surround it. The cow kinda throws a fit but if the cowboys can get the cow to calm down and walk off peaceably they got points. I wish it could have been explained to us but they were having a contest today and when we arrived it has started.
The capitol building is beautiful and you're allowed in without going thru metal detectors which is amazing to me. They let us in the rooms that the State Senate and House vote in. They were gone for the day it was 4:30P but it was still cool to see.
No the cotton gin wasn't running but it still does for a few weeks out of the year. It's been working since 1924. We got to touch cotton at various stages of ginning

Carol, you're in my part of the country. I'm not quite in Texas, twenty minutes from the border.
I hope you have fun!!

Cassy, Cassy...you didn't tell me you were coming to Brenham! That's less than an hour away from me!
(And Blue Bell seriously is the best ice cream ever!)

I know!!!!!! I didn't know where it was on the road between Houston and Austin. When they gave us the map today, I saw how close it was to you.

Then they toyed with me by mentioning your city about 5 times.

But we got there at 9A and were on the road again by 10:30A . I always do this If It's Tuesday it must be Belgium type tours.
We don't have Blue Bell in NY. It's delicious. I had Birthday Cake flavor and then I had Chocolate chip

Carol!! Josef called from Ireland and he said he hoped your trip was going well. It sounds like it is!
Blue Bell is good ice cream, but being from the south I'm a Mayfield girl...
