I want to curl up under the covers; put my favorite pic of Alex(which one? :confusing: ) on my pillow;send the family away until May 20; and daydream about me, Alex, TR, whatever---- :snicker: :snicker: :snicker:

Oh, yeah. A bottle of wine so my pic and I can toast frequently until May 20.

But----I'm thinking that the hubby might not go for that---can't imagine why???? :snicker: :snicker:

If TR makes it on the schedule, we can schedule a big ole slumber party right here on Wednesday, May 20, at 9 p.m. (6 p.m. PT). How about that? I'll bring the 10 Cane rum for the mojitos!

Ladies, bring your own poison! OK, now we need some chips and salsa and some hot wings. Who's bringing those?

New blog from zap2it about all the upfronts. I won't post all the detail as the Three Rivers mention is nothing more than a quote of Nikki Finke's article, already posted here.

Here's the link if you want to read: http://blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox ... owing.html

They seem to think CBS really wants a medical drama and that they think it will be TR! :rofl2:

Soo---when do we begin that slumber party? :redwine2:

Again, nothing new but I was a bit surprised to see a show called "House Rules" as now in contention for a possible pickup. Sorry, but this is the first time I've heard this show mentioned in months!

And on a sad note, this particular article is not giving much hope to Jason's "Body Politic". :(

Variety updated their earlier network countdown story...I'm posting the link because a few shows that had previously had little buzz and/or were rarely ever mentioned are all of a sudden getting a bit of buzz...

susie,

thanks for posting....before the events of last year, I wouldn't have had a clue what went on in terms of networks choosing which shows that wanted to run with. Now, I actually feel sorry for the actors, writers and crews that are holding their collective breath as to whether they have a job or not. It's got to be brutal..Wouldn't it be nice if CBS would make an early pickup of Three Rivers so that we could all start to breathe again?

A girl can dream....

Amen to that, dsr! I just can't imagine what it must be like to be an actor/writer/producer for one of the shows under consideration. It must be akin to torture. We, as fans, are biting our nails and downing adult beverages way too early in the morning! :snicker: Its gotta be worse for Alex. Good thing he started filming "Backup Plan" today. Hopefully, that will keep him busy and his mind off the upfronts and the fate of "Three Rivers". Sadly, we have nothing...so we worry and fret and pull our hair out! :witsend:

Grace, I told them all to go on vacation for a couple of weeks and play nice with each other and the world. ;) I have my priorities straight! Alex first...then protecting the world from really bad guys!
