Our European allies may be key to any prayer we have here... cuz those Doogie fans have come awake all of a sudden... or Jared's fans are voting against us too, to finesse the next round...

Well, grace, I don't have any blood on my fangs yet..eeeh, finger I meant.. it is still noon in Europe... and it is national holiday in Greece, too, some of us don't even have to work today! As about Jared's fans, well, I d play dirty too, I just don't know exactly how this poll works....

European reporting here, and voting like crazy (slow day at the office ...)!

I've never watched HIMYM, I only saw NPH on Glee, but I really don't see his charm, I don't find him that attractive, cute maybe. And he's VERY far from being alpha.

It works the same way the American basketball tournament works, so we all voted a couple weeks ago to "rank" the players and we did well there for Alex and got him easier opponents for the past 2 rounds.

Now in the Sweet 16 round, the opponents are all winners of past rounds, so if you notice in the poll, a lot of the match ups are really close at this point; they are all strong "players," based on fan voting.

NPH has a strong fan base... so we're struggling to beat him. I don't imagine he has a strong overseas fan base tho, so you girls voting while America sleeps seems a good thing for Alex's chances... cuz the American voters were overwhelmed by Doogie fans last night in the voting; you European and Aussie girls brought him back into contention during our night.

But I have seen in the comments that some fans are hedging their actors' bets by voting AGAINST the guy they think he'll face in the next round.

Jared is bound to win this round... the CW fans dominate this site... so it would be wasting OUR time to vote against him unless someone just really wants to do that. But the Jared fans might want to see Alex, who is a higher ranked player than NPH, go out in this round. There's nothing we can do about that but continue to vote for Alex and just see what happens, btw. It's nothing to worry about.

And this sucker is all for fun, of course. There are no prizes that accrue to a win here. Not really even bragging rights, cuz outside of the fanbases who are voting, no one is going to care.

It's mostly us older folks who remember NPH as Doogie Howser. Most of younger America sees him as Barney on How I Met Your Mother... And I totally agree - how could they even begin to see NPH as an Alpha??!!! Now our boy AO'L has Alpha written all over him!
