Alex said that an interviewer on the black carpet asked him who should be nominated for Man of the Year...

...and I said "Well, I think Jack Thompson should be given a-- a shot, you know," and she just, like, looked... I thought she'd seen something on my collar, and I realized, I said, "You don't know who Jack Thompson is, do you?" and she goes (shakes his head) So Jack... (raises the award to Jack T.) Thanks, mate.
