Seriously, I'm happy for all involved in this effort. A few minutes ago, they now have more than 70000 backers and the total pledged is $4.6 million and change. The pace has been pretty steady over the last few days and it's quite possible they'll get to the $5 million mark.

So let's have those exotic locations, smoldering and whatever else makes the movie magical.

I was stuck on my phone yesterday when the announcement came about the shirts, so I couldn't share them. I love the fact that they are having as much fun with this as we are!

They hit $5,000,000 around 3pm EDT. And they're still going strong, adding over $25,000 since then.

It's going to be a real stretch to break the record for most backers (87,142), though. They'd need 188 new backers per hour for the next 51 hours.

Even so, they have to be over the moon with the response they've gotten.


FYI: it is possible to donate from multiple email addresses (Kickstarter signons) using one Amazon account and the same credit card.
