I'll need to find out if it's practical / possible for members to have individualized titles.

The way we are gabbing on and on it might be that Redwinter is only the first of many. She should be honored for that, but maybe you can up the stakes later and just say, you need 20000 for that honor.

This thread has been great fun (and flattering) but my experience of other sites is that individualised titles lead to all kinds of problems. We came up with a set of ranks that a lot of members contributed to and I think they work for everyone. Besides, is there anything better than being 100% Moonlightaholic? I don't think so.

Still like the combinations, though.

With a phpBB messageboard, there is a limit to the number of ranks that can be installed, so having individualized ranks is really not an option.

Personally I think our ranks are brilliant, anyway.

I was NOT serious about individual ranks... I was trying to give Red a compliment... but it would never have occurred to me that the technology actually would allow that! Nor that most members would want to have to go thru the trauma of thinking of a rank name... I had enough trauma just picking a banner...

Just keep in mind that she has a database... she claims it's only got stories in it... but you never know.
