That'd be weird, wouldn't it?
Perhaps just a tad self-conscious?? Can you imagine Alex walking down the street by that theatre, see the poster, see people drooling over the poster, then try to not draw attention to himself??

Or maybe he just finds the whole thing funny and / or flattering....

I remember him being quoted as saying he was a little freaked by the huge ML billboard, way back when...maybe he's getting used to such things, by now.

I've got to say that I would find the giant posters tremendously disconcerting, if I saw myself up there (assuming I were, you know, huge poster material). But Alex wants this. He wants to be a leading man. And he's pragmatic enough to know that the huuuuuge pictures go with that. I bet he'll never be fully comfortable with the concept, though... because he's such a "real" guy. (Hmm... perhaps this belongs in the Alex thread. I'll stop here.)

Found this reference over at MLAB. It is such a charming interview. I really credit a fresh perspective by the author.

That is a cool interview... :twothumbs:

Supposedly Alex is also going to be on the Today Show... Red has posted this earlier, and my tivo confirms he'll be on April 16, which is Friday of course, the day after he's on the CBS show.

But one of the girls over at H50 says he'll ALSO be on the Today Show on the 15th (in the 10:00 hour supposedly)... 2 appearances. That does not show up on my tivo listing...

So I don't really know what might be going on there, but you all might want to be ready to watch/record/whatever just in case...

That is a great interview! You can tell that Alex enjoyed the questions... not the same old same old. And he gave some great answers (no surprise there!).

I wish I could see Alex on the shows, but I'm just gonna have to depend on the wonderful people like DEb (Purpldy) who post the appearances on youtube for us. Bless 'em... :hearts: And I do get to see him live on the Jimmy K. show, so I'm not gonna complain. :hyper2:

Tweet from someone called missbanshee. The only reason I saw it was because it was re-tweeted by Roger Ebert. :gasp:
missbanshee If I see that damn JLo wacky pregnancy hijinks commercial one more time, I swear to gawd, I will stab someone with a spork.

I think we should take stop watches to count how much of the movie we haven't seen. I'm pretty sure I've seen at least 50% as I've absorbed every clip people have found.

I haven't watched one clip online yet, because they are showing so many different clips on tv all the time. Trust me, I am in NO way complaining, but man, I am surprised at how often the ads are airing and how many variations there are. I can't recall the last time I saw so much promotion for a movie so far in advance of it coming out. Maybe I just notice this more, ya think?

Mr Fleur even noticed and said that I really don't need to see the movie after viewing all of the promos.
I threw a pillow at him and he recanted his ridiculous statement.

Okay, my tivo is listing Alex as being on the Today Show in the 10 am slot tomorrow (Friday) It isn't showing any listing of him being on the Today show today or tomorrow in the Today show's regular slot.

Watching CBS now, it's so cool to see women outside holding signs with Alex's name on them! Anyone we know standing there?
