I notice, looking through the pictures, that Alex did not wear prescription glasses. Looking at the cap Coco quoted, you can tell there's no refraction in the lens--the line of his face continues unchanged as you look through the glass. So... plain glass lenses. I had wondered if he would wear prescription lenses, since he obviously does wear corrective lenses (coco's favorite pictures from SD ComicCon). But prescription lenses do change your looks (for example, lenses for farsightedness make your eyes look much bigger), so maybe they don't use them in TV-world.
To me it doesn't make sense to go to the trouble of making prescription glasses for an actor who would never wear them again (they were hardly trendy frames

). Prop glasses can go back into a drawer for use later by someone else. Also perhaps Alex only had glasses on at that con to sign autographs or something. I don't think I've ever seen another photo where he's had them on, has anyone else?
