I love this very vivid story. Poor little Beth to be terrorized before she was terrorized

I meant to reread this story at Halloween, but things got so busy I didn't get around to it till today. Lucky had a wonderful ability to invoke a spooky atmosphere, and this tale still gives me goosebumps. :ghosty:

And I was so sure... SO sure... that this was a new story to me. And then, there is my comment from 2012. :sigh:

But on the bright side, it really was like reading a new story for the first time! :snicker:
