This is fabulous. So rich and multilayered, you have brought out and highlighted a side to Josef Kostan that I, for one, don't spend a lot of time exploring in my fic. Yet, it is entirely plausible that when your lifespan extends over centuries, the personality develops in different ways.

Chillingly plausible.

Mick is so wonderfully and comfortably dedicated to being a heroic, charming, gentle, romantic, guardian of humanity. Josef isn't and treats Mick's predeliction rather like a childhood stage he is going through. What if it is... :gasp:

Wonderfully done!

Thank you!

Sometimes, we find a piece of fiction that gives us a look at characters we love and find that there are dimensions there that we sensed, perhaps, lurking beneath the surface but for some reason did not choose to fully acknowledge.

This is chillingly plausible. Josef, in his four centuries has redefined the parameters of darkness. It wears a pleasant, friendly affable face and an armani suit. Drives a red ferrari and is scarier than....

Can Mick escape? I don't know that he can now...

Otherwise, I'd say RUNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!

Fabulous, fabulous story!

Thank you
