Red - Thanks for your comment. It was interesting to see your take on the same historical event. It was so different from mine, which is very cool. I love the way fanfic exposes us to different points of view on the same scenario. There's more (MBV - Hers) and we'll see what else the muses have to say on this one.

Nutmegger, this was quite interesting and so good to be your first fic (posted). I've heard of the St. Valentine's Day Massacre, but admittedly don't know too much about it. Now that I know Guillermo was involved I may just look into this a little deeper. Off to read "her" account now. Nice job!

It all started with a mug shot of Guillermo and just went from there.

Wow, there's so much more to Guillermo than meets the eye! I found it very endearing that he went to see Mick.
I had to google for the background (and your story made it interesting enough for me to want to!). Very cool. I shall now skip off to part II to review- read them in one go!

I've missed some of the older challenge stories. I really like this look into Guillermo's past. What a horrible experience he endured but he has long outlived his counterparts.

Fabulous glimpse into Guillermo's past!

Don't know why I made the assumption that Guillermo was younger than Mick, in vamp years. Maybe as he seemed to defer to him so often, but this gives us an entirely new backstory.

Always good to read a Guillermo story. That was very kind of Mick. What a hard job it must have been to inflict that much pain on his friend. Healing or not, that was a lot of "ouch"!
