I'll always love Mick! If not for him I may have never been introduced to Alex! *shudders* I'm now irretrievably an Alex girl!

Raven, You know that we are of like mind.

Alex O'Loughlin is cute, seems sweet and a little goofy, (frankly the ink and piercing really don't appeal to me). I think Alex is a good actor and wish him all the success and happiness in the world also, but I am firmly convinced he was channeling some other energy/entity when he was playing this role. It is all about Mick St. John for me. I love him and miss him, and he is without a doubt the single biggest reason I write fanfic, because I am not ready to say goodbye to him.

As for meeting Alex, well...I am going to London, and I do have a M&G pass, but I haven't decided yet whether I will use it. (I probably will, because then everyone will KNOW I am out of my mind- but my fanfic days might be over as a result.) An unexpected and interesting thing happened to me in Chicago. When I met Jason Dohring, the vision of Josef in my head left, and now Jason and Josef are Josef, instead of the pure unadulerated Josef Kostan who was there before...Don't get me wrong, Jason was very sweet, but if I had to do it all over again, I would gaze adoringly at him, but it would be from afar...

If I may interject here... WE are not ready for YOU to say good bye to Mick either, Luna!

OK lunalux you have me scared now. I'm not letting you meet Alex in June if it means losing your beloved fanfic ;) :D

Oh, Lunalux, how upsetting that must be...I'm really sorry that happened. But...oh god, not MICK! Mick took up residence in your head...no way that could happen...holy crap, what a dilemma. Meeting Alex face to face...the only thing that may make a difference, a really big difference is that Alex neither looks nor sounds like Mick. Maybe meeting Alex would be just that...meeting Alex. No Mick in the mix...maybe...

My guess? Lunalux may have lost her JosefMuse for now, for now, but no way does this Mick-channeler lose her MickMuse.

She's just got him down too well for this loss.

Ahhh this was an easy choice.

While I absolutely love my heroes tragic, dark and fractured, let alone gorgeous, that would get old over time. (don't throw the cutlery at me, please!) Not the gorgeousness part, but the brooding/guilt-ridden thing. I love Mick and thank him heartily for introducing me to the wonder that is Alex O'Loughlin. Without ML, I'm not sure I would have ever delved into Alex's career and that would have been a shame.

So, for me, the choice is Alex. :D

Yeah... we owe Mick quite the debt, don't we?

Thanks, oh other half of my brain, for stating the above.(good news for me, a little iffy for you)
I feel the same way. No Alex? I wouldn't have watched August Rush (well, maybe, after all, Jonathan Rhys M. was in it), but definitely would not have viewed The Invisible, Oyster Farmer, and God knows I must love the man to sit through The Man Thing.

Wait til you see MB... and Jonathan RM was a bore in August Rush... and ALex wasn't in it enough to make up for that for me... darnit.

JRM is pretty to look at when Alex is not on the screen.
Had to do something while waiting for Mr. O. to make an appearance.

This one was easy for me, as well. Mick, 100%. Alex is fun, handsome, funny...but alas, he is not a vampire! I love the vampire! I've always loved the vampire. When I watched the old vampire movies, I always wanted the vampire to vanquish the hunters, put them in their place. He was never the bad guy or evil, to me.
