Hi Kelly, it's me, and just in case you didn't know already...ya right I voted for Alex

But it's Mick who is treasured in my heart. Mick is magic and I'll never be the same. I love Mick. I miss Mick.

Raven, You know that we are of like mind.
Alex O'Loughlin is cute, seems sweet and a little goofy, (frankly the ink and piercing really don't appeal to me). I think Alex is a good actor and wish him all the success and happiness in the world also, but I am firmly convinced he was channeling some other energy/entity when he was playing this role. It is all about Mick St. John for me. I love him and miss him, and he is without a doubt the single biggest reason I write fanfic, because I am not ready to say goodbye to him.
.
OK lunalux you have me scared now. I'm not letting you meet Alex in June if it means losing your beloved fanficlunalux wrote:Raven wrote:I wish Alex all the success and happiness in the world. I will be an Alex fan forever.

As for meeting Alex, well...I am going to London, and I do have a M&G pass, but I haven't decided yet whether I will use it. (I probably will, because then everyone will KNOW I am out of my mind- but my fanfic days might be over as a result.) An unexpected and interesting thing happened to me in Chicago. When I met Jason Dohring, the vision of Josef in my head left, and now Jason and Josef are Josef, instead the pure unadulerated Josef Kostan who was there before...Don't get me wrong, Jason was very sweet, but if I had to do it all over again, I would gaze adoringly at him, but it would be from afar...

While I absolutely love my heroes tragic, dark and fractured, let alone gorgeous, that would get old over time. (don't throw the cutlery at me, please!) Not the gorgeousness part, but the brooding/guilt-ridden thing. I love Mick and thank him heartily for introducing me to the wonder that is Alex O'Loughlin. Without ML, I'm not sure I would have ever delved into Alex's career and that would have been a shame.
So, for me, the choice is Alex.
Thanks, oh other half of my brain, for stating the above.(good news for me, a little iffy for you)SirenSong wrote:Ahhh this was an easy choice.

I feel the same way. No Alex? I wouldn't have watched August Rush (well, maybe, after all, Jonathan Rhys M. was in it), but definitely would not have viewed The Invisible, Oyster Farmer, and God knows I must love the man to sit through The Man Thing.
