Wow -- I really like how you described her reaction to tasting G's blood. That was powerful. I kind of guessed that "Claudia" was the head Cleaner, but is that because of the real actress's name? For some reason I recall other fics naming the head cleaner Claudia too. Interesting.
And we do need more fics from the female vamp POV. Kudos to you for going there and doing it so well.

Hi again,
I just read through the comments you got for this part already and can only see - I agree!! Finally a female vampire POV, and boy I understand the difficulties they would have with mortal men. (And the other way around, mortal women + vampire men- how will they ever settle for less afterwards?)
Thanks for giving Guillermo some more background! I'm interested to know what he would have felt about the movie(s) they made of his death...

Maybe this is just me, but when you named her Claudia, I immediately thought of Claudia Black who was the Lead Cleaner.
Also, there is the fabulous look at the trials and tribulations of vampire love, from the feminine perspective.

This was fantastic, Nutmegger!
I really like Claudia, and it was great to see some of her backstory.
Excellent point about the male-female vampire ratio. I never even thought about this, but what you wrote makes a lot of sense.

Thanks, ladies, for commenting - especially on the POV. For some reason Claudia Muse found a voice and was willing to share.
Jen - Thank you so much. You are always so supportive of my little stories.
And yes, Claudia and Molly have their names for a reason.
Marigold - I actually did start writing the rest of the story and then got side tracked. Maybe I'll see if I can find it and beg a beta to help me get going again on this one. Thanks for inspiring me.

This story does raise a bunch of questions about the relationship between G and Claudia. I wonder why he decided to become an ME? I guess it meshes pretty well with the Cleaners.
Whatever her reasoning, I'm glad she turned him. And I'm glad he decided to take on the persona of Guillermo.
Very skillfully woven, indeed a great tale.
