I am new. I'm a child taking the first steps of discovery. I imagined. I dreamt. But I never really believed, until now.

you strip away the cloak of regret that has protected me

hum your name against your skin, each time new and sacred. The voice of ages cries inside me, forcing tears past the silver that can no longer contain them. I don't need to turn away, not now, not ever.

Such a richness of words, of emotions in such a few words. It’s as if you were in Mick’s head.

And then the sensual careful description of their love, with „Like this“ slaying me again. It’s the ultimate counterpoint to the bathroom in Fever, intimacy, giving and accepting life, being connected on a deep level.

For the first time in this life, I hunger no more.

Wow. This is touching on every level of humanity. Everything a person could ever want has been fulfilled. The epitome of heaven.

And the last two lines kill me again.
