Thank you. What do you give a vamp that has everything.MSJ_sunglasses wrote:Very appropriate gift and a surprise ending - loved it!
I'm glad hun.coco wrote:Loved it Josef's Rose.
That was the general idea.MoonlitRose wrote:Now that was a gift that only Beth could give! I was so expecting it to be Mick! Great surprize!:curtesy:
I think you could be right. He might think it a gift, as she did the vamp nation a favour.eris wrote:Why do I get the feeling Josef would consider that a down-payment more than a gift?Nice one
I like to surprize people. Job done!!MickLifeCrisis wrote:I wasn't expecting that ending at all! This was great!
I think I channeled her for this one. She comes now and then.jenstc2003 wrote:This is SOOO like Beth! I love it!
Beth, felt responsible, and Josef helped her.PNWgal wrote:I LIKED this. Beth dropping off a little thank-you for Josef after helping her "deal" with that slimy Foster.
Good job!
Praise indeed from one such as yourself.allegrita wrote:This is wonderful--a very appropriate gift for Beth to give to Josef, but one he wouldn't have expected. I like this, JosefsRose!
I haven't done alot of challenges, but this one caught my attention.RangerCM wrote:How original! Very nice surprise. Had me the whole way through. I'm just loving this challenge, today!
Yes she is. Thanks.Fleur de Lisa wrote:You got me!!
Love our feisty, brave Beth.

Josef is a connoisseur of fine thing. Beth is well aware of the fact. She is very savvy.librarian_7 wrote:I like this. And it's very much something Beth would think to do.

I am humbled. Thank you. No Josef would never feed directly from her, so her gift was all the more poignant.francis wrote:That was unexpected. That it was Josef, I mean. But it makes sense. She wouldn't let him drink directly from her, but giving him her precious blood would actually be one thing that he can't buy himself. And she has a big thankyou to make for the Foster case.
Well done!
That was the general idea, most readers would assume Mick as he is reluctant to feed fresh. Thanks.wollstonecraft61 wrote:Wow, I wasn't expecting that ending! I was picturing Mick, but I should have been clued when he seemed nonchalant about it initially. Great work!!!!!!
Yep, he had to get in on the action.wpgrace wrote:Josef scores again!Lovely Sweetie!

What do you give someone who has everything?
And I think spunky Beth would want to feel sort of 'even' and not too beholden to Josef.
Thank you.

What?! LOL! You got me on this one, JR! But that is so like Beth. Good on her! And it certainly is a rare gift that says thank you for "sorting out that problem." Nice job!

Re: An Unexpected Gift- G
Back for a reread...and I can't help thinking, wow--two bags! Beth really gets the value of what Josef did for her... but I wonder if Josef will consider that to be enough...? And still, I bet the day will come when Mick finds out, and I'm not sure how he's gonna feel when he discovers that his best girl and his best friend have been conspiring to murder his enemies BEHIND HIS BACK....

Wonderful!
That phrase regarding the insight he got from the blood has got me thinking, though. Now what does that mean?
I was thinking, she should have cleared something like this with Mick first, just in case she is breaking some form of protocol, but if this is for taking care of Dean Foster, any discussion with Mick would be inadvisable.
Nice answer to the challenge.
