Josef is a connoisseur of fine thing. Beth is well aware of the fact. She is very savvy.

That was unexpected. That it was Josef, I mean. But it makes sense. She wouldn't let him drink directly from her, but giving him her precious blood would actually be one thing that he can't buy himself. And she has a big thankyou to make for the Foster case.

Back for a reread...and I can't help thinking, wow--two bags! Beth really gets the value of what Josef did for her... but I wonder if Josef will consider that to be enough...? And still, I bet the day will come when Mick finds out, and I'm not sure how he's gonna feel when he discovers that his best girl and his best friend have been conspiring to murder his enemies BEHIND HIS BACK....

I was thinking, she should have cleared something like this with Mick first, just in case she is breaking some form of protocol, but if this is for taking care of Dean Foster, any discussion with Mick would be inadvisable.
