This is the Pittsburgh skyline, for those of us who didn't know.

Would you believe I was scrolling image results for china figurines,
And this photo was among them..... !!! ( scratch head here!!! )
Anyway, I noticed the bridges, and I thought how nice it was of "them" to make Alex feel more at home.
Because they remind me very much of our own Sydney Harbour Bridge.

I would not fret too much about what NBC did and why they did it... those execs have made such brilliant programming decisions that they've been on the bottom of the network barrel for awhile now... and they've put the boring and passe Jay Leno on at 10 every frikkin night... genuises they aren't. Machiavellian they even aren't. Treading water? That's about it...

Yes, Pittsburgh has plenty of bridges, and a few tunnels as well. And guess which part of that photo is called "The Point"? :snicker:

The networks are beginning to pick up pilots. According to the Hollywood Reporter, ABC has picked up a new pilot entitled "Modern Family". This is what they have to say about CBS:

At CBS, the Julianna Margulies-starring legal drama "The Good Wife" is very hot, along with the comedies "Accidentally on Purpose," "Happiness Isn't Everything" and "Waiting to Die." The jury is still out on medical dramas "Miami Trauma" and "Three Rivers"; neither is breaking through for now.

This just popped-up! Also says Miami Trauma had a "soft screening". :cheering:

Nikke Finke's Deadline Hollywood Daily
Primetime Pilot Panic: New CBS Hot List; Dramas 'The Good Wife' & 'NCIS' Spinoff Get OK; Jenna & Jason Sitcoms Look Good
This updates my previous Primetime Pilot Panic: The Hot List

THREE RIVERS (CBS-Paramount/Deuce Three) is looking likely to be the medical drama Les wants more so than main competitor Miami Trauma. CBS liked what they're seeing. And the network really likes star Alex O'Loughlin. Not only might he bring his small but rabid Moonlight fanbase, but he recently starred in a Criminal Minds sweeps episode. And I hear CBS Films just put him in the feature film Plan B opposite Jennifer Lopez. Insiders are betting this show with a 24 splitscreen feel will go.
