Thanks so much, Mitz! Beth doesn't know any other vamps, and if Josh keeps his mouth shut, they may never even know that she told the secret. But we'll see what happens. ;)

I'm trying to work on the next update of this, What Are You, Mick St. John?, and do the reader-writer challenge all at once, so...I'll update with Josh's reaction etc. as soon as I can ;)

Oh, this is lovely!

I finally crawl out of my cave for a night and find a fun story like this? There's all sorts of drama and romance and wonderfulness around these people. I want to squeeeeeeee at the drama of it! This sounds like there's so much fun to be had.

I'm a little worried about how Josh is going to react, how Mick is going to react, how Beth is going to react to all this reaction - but I'm looking forward to seeing how that reacting goes :)

Write more, k?

Great job!

Wow, thank you, Rijane! I'm flattered that you came out of your cave and into mine.

Yes, Josh will have a few things to say, I imagine--and Mick, and Beth...and maybe a couple other people. Don't worry, I will write more, as soon as I can.

Oh Beth, Beth, Beth, what have you done?

And more urgently for the time being, is Mick ready for the arrival of Fayed's hitman?

Yes, Beth, what have you done? :gasp: As for Mick, we'll find out how ready he is in a chapter or two...

Thanks for reading, Red! :)

OMG just read both. I LOVE it!!!! awesome way to twist. I always thought Leni was a cool chick and poor Beth, you're right that is one hell of a secret and lets face it she has yet to meet Joesf so she is pretty alone. Can't wait!

Thanks so much, Ash! Glad you're liking it. So far I think you've been the most understanding of Beth, haha. ;)

Great fun and I love seeing Leni here; she is a wonderful character and it's so nice to see her brought to life. And Beth has certainly put her foot into things! Wonder if Josh will believe her?

Thank you so much, Shadow! Yes, we will have to see if Josh even believes Beth...it's not like he'll get the same visual confirmation she did, and she's been through a lot lately...

I need to get a chapter of my other story up first before I can work on the next of this one, but I'll do it as soon as I can.

holy hell! What?! There's no taking-a-secret-to-the-grave thing, anymore? That's L.A. for you, you drop out of sight for a second and you're ancient history. Beth, Beth, Beth. You've put Mick in the soup, now.

:snicker: So true, Luxe--L.A. is fickle. Beth does think she can trust Josh, though--she's not planning on it being announced to the world. My theory is that one reason Mick's "death" hit Beth so hard was because she had only recently found out vampires existed and Mick was the only one she knew--now she's all alone with this huge, life-altering secret, and no one to talk to about it. (Also, she had to keep Josh from getting the wrong idea...;))

Noc, are you still writing on this story? I was watching Fever tonight and was reminded of your wonderful version of what happened in that no-star motel.
