Now this made me laugh out loud! :rolling: How right you are, Lilly!

Let us all pay homage to the Ferrari :notworthy:

In no particular order:

Lola - the epitome of everything I think a female vampire should be. Beautiful, arrogant, strong...and anyone that can get around Josef deserves a shout-out. Never mind I LOVE her speech to Beth about her changing her mind about Turning once Beth starts getting old and Mick loses interest...YEAH. :teeth:

Lance - the ultimate bad guy. So slickly evil and soooooo snobby. Again - anyone that can make Josef take a step back gets a mention as a baddie.

The original Cleaner - I LOVED her and was a little disgusted when they replaced her with that wanna-be on The Mortal Cure. She was so wonderfully pragmatic about her job.

Guillermo - LOVED him. His absolute horror at Mick being human was just so fun to watch and he had the greatest snarky lines.

Ryder - I liked Logan, but I would have loved to see more of Ryder. He reminded me of the guys I used hang out with in high school.

Lt. Carl Davis - I loved how irked he'd get with Beth and absolutely adored him in Love Lasts Forever.

1. Rider England - I really wanted to see more of him.
2. Lola - A pirate army?
3. Steve, the photographer - He cracked me up.
4. Lance - With the attitude pole vaulting over the top.
5. Emma & Jackson - as a couple.
6. The first cleaner

Josh and Carl felt like part of the regular cast, not like guest stars.

Oh ouch! (but I agree with you about the "wanna-be" and I think so did Mick... :giggle: )

1. Josh; Under-rated, but integral
2. Leni; I would have liked to see her come back after she had the baby
3. Ben; Beth was right, he does start to grow on you
4. Logan; don't you just want to hug him?
5. Travis; what can I say, I love cats
6. Trevor Morris-composer; I still listen to Saving Josh daily

:snicker: I loved Ryder, too. It's so hard to pick just six!

I love all the lists... it's interesting to read. So I'll offer mine.

All my life, I've been a smart a$$ who likes to break the rules, so no reason to stop now :yahoo: ! And after all, the whole reason we're here is to discuss things to death, right? :snicker: Soooo..... I created two lists, one for the characters I'd have liked to have seen come back, and one for the guest stars I thought had the best acting chops (see, I stayed within the thread topic  ).

Best characters:
1. Holly Valance - Lola = "Remember darling, half the world is night." I think she could have been Josef's Coraline :gasp:
2. Jason Butler Harner - Lance = "Welcome to the family <sneer>."
3. Jacob Vargas - Guillermo = "Yeah, 'cause I work for you!"
4. Nate Mooney - Ryder England = "She requires references - you know that?"
5. David Blue - Logan Griffen = "Can my code name be Lando Calrisian?"
6. Molly Culver - The Cleaner - "Mr. Sloppy and Mr. Stupid got carried away..." I too liked the original cleaner the best.

Best guest stars:
1. Gideon Emery - Donovan Shepherd = "Come on, 2 vamps, 2 lovely ladies... in my day, we called that a party."
2. Mark Totty - Jerry Drake = "Mr. St. John, my time is money. I know a lot of people say that, but I actually had my accountants run the numbers." and "Your movie's gonna rock!"
3. Vanessa Lengies - Leni Hayes = "Who wants to go clubbing?"
4. David Fabrizio - Lee Jay Spalding = "I know what you are, Mick."
5. Hal Williams - Det. Bobby Desmond = "Hey, what's with these muscles? How're you stayin' so fit? "
6. Bryn/Amayla Early - Young Beth = Best non-speaking part  , because those woeful eyes are really heartbreaking.

I'm sure it's not lost on anyone that there's a lot of snarky aspects to these lists

ETA: to clarify... and to add #6 to my first list (one of these days I'll learn to count  )

1. Logan (what a bright spot he was for the show)
2. Donovan Shepherd (way way creepy! He had it all the voice, the looks)
3. Guillermo (more humor for the show)
4. Leni (good actress in her scenes with Mick)
5. Lola (got to give the girl credit. she could kick A reasonably well)
6. Robert Fordham (awesome actor)
