It was a good ep, but I think this has been a particularly strong season for the show. And they left it with a great teaser for coming back... whenever it is that it's coming back...
Gideon was good. I am NO judge of accents, but he sounded real enough to me. He LOOKED so different from Shepherd that if I hadn't been told it was he, I'm not sure that I woulda figured it out on my own. SO thanks for telling me in advance, my friends!
And he did survive, but I was kinda hoping they'd leave it in a place that he'd be likely to guest star again... since she "can't go home again" I wonder if they will ever use him again...

I was out, but I recorded it so I'll have to watch it all the way through..just caught the tail end.
Burn Notice, like a lot of USA's shows split their season...it'll be back in Dec or Jan.

I might have have twigged that it was him, from the voice, and possibly from the profile. He has such a distinctive nose.
I haven't watched the show, except maybe part of one ep, but this was good. And Gideon was memorable in the role....which is not suprising.

Usually they re-run the show once in the week. The show was good enough to watch again. Lots of action, the the Irish accents were a nice change.

I'm hoping for the same thing. At least the brother is alive - it makes the chances of reappearing much better. This is the first time we've gotten any backstory on Fi so it probably will depend on what TPTB think of his performance.
I do think they could have given him a little bit more to do. But it was nice to see him be a good guy!

Yep,
Red... if y'all hadn't told me he was gonna be on, I would NOT have recognized him as the same guy who played Donovan Shepherd...
Talk about looking DIFFERENT!!! And of course sounding quite different too... good on him!

The eyes are the same. Kinda weird for a sane guy.

I really appreciate the posting. I watch The Forgotten - usually on DVR but will try to do it live and DVR the other program. I remember being so happy when Gideon actually replied to me in an email after I sent him a note advising him that I thought he was one of the scariest characters ever on Moonlight. While admittedly he isn't the leading man type, I was just happy that he had taken the time to actually reply himself.
