two little bites of goodness emma-lee. I particularly liked the second, conveying Coraline's sorrow.

Thank you very much darkstar. I am glad you enjoyed them.darkstarrising wrote:Emma-Lee,
what a wonderful response to the challenge!! One man's joy at winning 100Gs countered by one woman's sorrow at losing something more precious than money.
Beautifully done!
Thanks Alle. I was hoping the contrast would not be too much.allegrita wrote:I like them both individually, Emma-lee, but as a pair they are wonderful because of the contrast between them. Beautifully done!
Thank you Luxe. Cora was my favorite one as well....but then i am biased I think Cora was my favorite character on ML. Shhhh don't tell Josef...LOL.Luxe de Luxe wrote:two little bites of goodness emma-lee. I particularly liked the second, conveying Coraline's sorrow.

The second one...I'm no Coraline fan, so all I could think is "that's what you get" (oooh, harsh, isn't it?) but I am only thankful that she created our beautiful vampire Mick. Sorry, but that's all the sympathy I can muster!
Thanks for coming by again. And Yes Cora does have A LOT of regrets and Guillermo is just fun to torment.cassysj wrote:Just revisiting challenges. Poor Guillermo he will never get out of the rematch. Poor Coraline there are a lot of regrets for her.
Thank you Jennajen wrote:Emma Lee
These are both wonderful!!
Guillermo winning the poker game with Josef was a fluke and while Josef is certain to seek a rematch, not for the money but 'the principle of the thing' I hope he has a change of heart. A hundred thousand dollars is pocket change to Josef. It's probably a lot of money to Guillermo. I hope he has a change of heart but...I doubt it.
The second one is poignant, and shows a Coraline who is not as cold and remorseless as the one we tend to see by default. She recognizes that she made a terrible mistake with Mick. I really hope she manages to learn from it.
Thank you!
Jenna
