Read the whole story last night but it was 4:00 AM when I was done so brain was sleepy for comments. Loved it nice storyline and characterization.

I finished re-reading last night, too. Josef can be an old softie...for me, I think he's at a point where he can be fond of the women who feed him. It may not be a deep or lasting bond, but...they are not just walking bags of blood. He still has to growl and put up a good front, however. Got to maintain that ruthless reputation!
