LOVE this!!
Love the idea of Josh on a cycle.....perhaps a softail deluxe, something as sparkling as his blue eyes. It should have been this way.....for his sake.
Beautiful story.

Moonlighter, Lilly, Lucy,
Thanks for the new comments! I'd about forgotten this little story, so I was really glad to see it bumped! (I know, I know, when am I ever sorry to see one of my pieces bumped?)
It was so clear to me, after seeing Jordan in person, that Josh really had a lot of unexplored territory. And I like to think Jordan might like this one.

Came here by way of my fic catch up with the challenges and realised I'd read & commented on this one previously but read it again and it' still wonderful and very poignant. Poor Josh.

You know, coco, seeing your comment inspired me to go back and re-read the piece...and I really like to think this was a scene that was very plausible, in context of canon.
Thanks for re-reading, and commenting!

This is so sad, knowing what we know now.
Josh had planned out a bright future for them. There was a lot he didn't know, and mercifully there is a lot he never found out.
Thank you for this look into his mind.
Jenna

In the light of your new drabble about Josh I had to reread this one. Still love it.

Thanks, cassy! I loved blending a little bit of Jordan's con look into straight arrow Josh. (Because, dayum, he looked GREAT in Chicago!)
