As I have commented over at M&B, I suspect a little chain yanking going on and this just furthers my suspicions.
Be strong Alex!

jmc wrote:What bothers me here is the way Les refers to Alex. It's all those bad 'd' words - derogatory, demeaning, disrespectful. Les is the big boss and he sounds like he thinks the key to Alex's success is losing the shirt. If Alex chooses to market himself that way, then it's his decision. I just would hate to have TPTB push him into that box because I think he's too good an actor for those limitations.
I thought about this a bit more, and if these comments had been said in any other corporate setting (other than the entertainment industry), the words 'harassment' would would be bandied about and the lawyers would be tripping over themselves to get the injured party into a courtroom.
As it is, it's just sad on so many levels.

Oh Bob.
And people wonder why television usually appeals to the lowest common denominator.

ladies
I didn't like the way Les refers about Alex!!! I think alex is an excellente actor, he only need the opportuneness to pove it. alex is more than a "pretty face" he also has a brilliant brain.
I don't like the CBS's president!!!

There's a follow up question in "Ask Matt" @ TVguidemagazine.com (the "Matt" is Matt Roush"):
Question: Well, CBS did it to us again, surprise, surprise. I am certain Alex O'Loughlin has many scripts to read. Any ideas on what his next project will be, or are we fans going to have to wait another two years?—Mike and Stacy
Matt Roush: Let me steer you toward our recent story on this situation, where CBS president/CEO Leslie Moonves reaffirms that O’Loughlin is still considered part of the CBS family—and he’s the lead in the upcoming CBS Films feature film The Back-Up Plan opposite Jennifer Lopez. Beyond that, it’s a bit early to know where he’ll turn up next. Pilot season is just around the corner, so don’t be surprised if he’s attached to some new project, and let’s hope it’s a better showcase than
http://www.cbs.com/primetime/three_rivers/ turned out to be.

From Matt Roush's mouth to God's ears... or perhaps those of Les Moonves....
Interesting to note that the article Matt points the reader to is now the second most popular in discussion....last count, 139 comments have been logged, some rather feisty.
