This is obviously Josef's idea of how things would work out. I love this--it's incredibly true to the original Dr. Seuss story. You're so good at keeping the feel and style of the original, and making it wonderfully Moonlighty too. Thanks very much for this poem, dear Lilly. Once again--I find myself going that I never commented on this one either!
I don't usually bump my own fic... but, then again, this can hardly be called "fic."
Anyway, I just wanted to do something to mark Dr. Seuss' birthday today... ...and since that's the original reason I wrote this whatever-it-is, it seems fitting. In a warped kind of way.
I know I had read this before, but apparently didn't comment. (I was shy in the early days. Go figure. )
This just made me smile ear to ear! And just from trying to write limericks, I can appreciate how much effort you must have put into this! It's terrific!
