Lucy, this was heartbreaking and beautiful too.
Even when they are parted from each other, they are together.
Forever......

Thank-you, sorry to be a heartbreaker.....it was the mood that week and they were my targets.

Thanks for the "hug"

So sorry, without dark there can be no light, without sadness there can be no JOY!

I have to piggyback on MLL60's comment -- to think of an eternity where they are not together is heartbreaking. :hankie: But kudos for squeezing such emotion out of this little shorty (not at all hard to do for me, though.)

:flowers: Cleaning House is bound to bring up memories, Jenga-like closets are more than a problem of arranging..One of my worst fears has always been that Mick , Beth (and Josef) will meet eternity at different times...and it is as horrible as I had thought. No matter who stays back, memories just aren't enough, you need to take the voyage, it is a date. Thanks for making me cry...really. :flowers:

Well, tears are cathartic...... :phew:
Right, unless they all went down in a fiery inferno together....they would leave at different intervals and wouldn't it be ironic that the mortal would outlive them both?

I've been revisiting old challenges and I'm guessing I missed this one which was my loss. Poor Beth being alone for so many years but she knows she's waiting for him. I do wonder what broke them away from Josef. A very sad tale but I agree with francis that Mick would prefer this scenario

Thank-you, Carol!
Yes, francis is a great mind!
Glad it was worth revisiting! :notworthy:
