Very harsh but perfectly Josef. He would never tolerate this type of betrayal.

Yep, this is Josef to a T. He would not suffer disloyalty, and especially being lied to when he confronted the culprit. And he would definitely obliterate all traces of the betrayer. What an object lesson for the other freshies!
