Thanks, dear Red...

You know how you get a sugar high if you eat a lot of donuts? I think I'm on an Alex high this week... and totally enjoying it. :happysigh:
Hmmm... too bad you can't pull into a 24-hour Alex Shop and sit drinking coffee with the cops and enjoy Alex anytime you want...

OMG ALLE!!! Yes, I am using shouty caps!!

HOLY HELL!!!! I've always loved you, now I wanna be you!! How fantastic that you not only got to see the movie, look at the man, but you TALKED TO HIM?????? And got to see him up close and personal???? WOW.
Seriously, my hands are trembling while I type, and they may be a bit sweaty. So glad that you got to experience Alex like that. All of us fangirls are in awe and living vicariously through you.

All the clips in the world, while wonderful, do not compare to the feeling of one of our own meeting and speaking to this lovely man. Congrats to you, and try not to re-live that moment more than 100 times a day. Or your heart just may give out! Mine just about has just from reading about your meeting!!!!

What she said!!! Alle, this is more than watching anything on youtube, this is the real thing.

And red, isn't he awesome beyond words for patiently giving them all these photo ops even beyond when he had to go? I guess this was a short break he had and all he did with it was signing autographs, not drinking a coffee, not closing his eyes for a moment... that's dedication!!!

Oh, maaaan, that was so kind of him. I can't believe how patient he was with the camera that wouldn't shoot pictures! :slaphead:

He must have left about 2 minutes before I got down there. It was right near the concert area. That's Cypress Hill you hear in the background.

Alex on Rachel Ray show 4/21 part 1:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3xuIoaTlGxc

Alex on Rachel Ray part 2:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wX76IF3Ueqk

He's really great here. The first one is an interview where he talks a bit about Australianisms that no-one gets, and explains (or tries to explain) "fair dinkum". Then they show a clip with
Spoiler:
Stan removing the tag and the beginning of the perfect date which then went down hill
and then Rachel asks about what his worst date was.

In the second one they play a game where he has to guess old TV shows and sing the theme song. He gets help from someone in the audience who wins a price for helping him. She gets quite bossy towards him, must be the teacher in her. :tomato:

I don't know anything about Rachel Ray, except that my niece-in-law likes her cookbooks... but she was great with Alex! It looks like he had a lot of fun on the show, and she did a great interview with him. I wish he'd go on more shows like this: Ellen, Oprah, whatever... although, to be honest, I'm already starting to get a little wistful as I see "our" ownership of him being diluted by all the millions of new fans who are falling in love with his wonderfulness...

I have to agree. As much as I want Alex to be successful, I hate the thought that he won't be just "our" Alex anymore. LOL, it's been like having this great secret you want to share with the universe, but you also want to keep it to yourself for JUUUUUUUST a bit longer.

OMG--Alex on Rachael Ray--a. maz.ing.

(Using grace's color scheme) I can hardly string 2 words together. He was sooooo cute. And funny. And now I'm gonna dream about him singing in my ear---I don't care if he sings the Love Boat theme, just serenade me.

This is how done I am: My husband calls (he's been out of town for the last few days) to chat, during the middle of me swooning over the Rachael Ray interview. I almost didn't answer the phone. I held that phone with his number showing on caller id for waaaaay too long trying to decide what was more important---then I remembered I could pause the tv! I am seriously thanking the tecno-wizards who invented dvrs lately. Mine is filled with nothing but Alex interviews. I know all of yours are, too!

Cannot WAIT until Friday. My best friend is taking the day off of work and we are going to the movie together! And alle, still hyperventilating over your talking with this man.

...searching online for a double-pronged fork for grace and I--this way, we can just lean into it, since neither of us have the strength any longer to do it ourselves!
