It does seem so much closer now. The cover really is very striking, especially since Mick Angel only saw things in black, white and red. I'm just having a bit of trouble with the different fangs on this Mick.

I know there's probably a whole slew of reasons, legal and otherwise, why this couldn't happen, but it would have been cool if they had made the vamp on the cover look just a little more like the Mick we knew. Even so, I can't wait!!!

Well, hmmm. This cover art looks an AWFUL lot like the cover art from the DVD for the TV show Angel! Font, colors, cityscape on the bottom of the picture...

Wow. There are some similarities there. The book cover has a grittier appearance, but it's certainly evocative of the DVD cover.

Maybe it's intentional to cater on the people who loved Angel. They might recognize it without knowing from where.

This seems really petty, but I don't like that vamp's nose. It's not at all like Mick's nose. I've always wondered if one of the reasons Alex was cast in that role was because with all the emphasis on sniffing, he had such a fine, lovely-looking nose for it!
