For a smarg guy, Mick can do some dumb stuff. Seriously, it shouldn't take 'smelling the past or glimpsing the future' to see how it would turn out once Beth found out about Mick answering for her without telling her about the invitation.

What relationship doesn't have a good fight from time to time?

Careful, Josef. You could easily wind up in the doghouse with Mick

I'm so glad you bumped this, MLC! I remember this story well. Silly Mick, he really needs to learn that he needs to help Beth understand the situation, be convincing about his reasons for wanting her to do (or not do) something, and then let her make her own decision. I don't think it's a vampire thing, it's more of a guy thing.

And now Beth is in a scary situation that she doesn't really understand!

And Josef, that was just mean.

I'm really glad I caught the "bump" this time.

I just love this, MLC! It's classic "overprotective" Mick , typical "independent" Beth, and true-to-form incorrigible Josef.

What's not to love?
