thanks, dear grace What you've described is exactly the Mick I was trying to capture, one trying to break free from the ritual of killing to survive.

There's so much restrained hunger here, so much longing for connection that ends in a blood bath every time. You really get the vampire concept, the metaphorical hunger that Christian Ellis was talking about, but you are much more eloquent in talking about it. Very well done!

Gosh, I'm very late to this party (busy last couple days) so there's not much I can say that hasn't already been said...but that was a beautiful (language-wise) peek into Dark Mick when he was indeed killing time in the shadows until it was killing time in the shadows...

thank you francis sorry for the late reply. You've hit it perfectly....it's all about hunger, not just for blood, but for the connection Ellis was talking about. Mick's trying to rise above it all, but he can't.

thanks, Julie Mick is like a drug addict...he craves not just the blood, but the high from the kill. But now he's beginning to realize that the killing has to stop....just not yet.

What a glorious insight into the dark monster that was once our Mick. We all know he wouldn't have called himself that if he truly didn't experience all of those things. Delicious, dark and incredibly sexy, dsr.

Thanks, coco Mick in the shadows is a dark, dangerous and primal beast....the inner struggle between man and monster has already begun, but for now, the monster wins.
