Let me add my and echo alle's comment about all you wonderful folks - you make this place special and I'm so glad you're excited!!

This summary has inspired me to delve back in to the Library and check out some more of those fabulous 1200 stories - and I can't wait for the screencap gallery to go live. Just thinking about having our very own set of beautiful caps gives me a lovely, warm glow.

It is exciting to see such wonderful growth.
After this much time any other board would have drifted into oblivion. Here, we have a delightful vibrant community that continues to grow and develop.

Yes, this announcement will stay up permanently, and we will post updated versions of it as we add new things to the board.

We're working to make MLA the best place it can be. That doesn't mean that we're competing with anybody else for "best board." Every board has an important role in the fandom. The wonderful thing about this fandom is that we've managed to create a wonderful synergy--a synergy that has persisted through multiple blow-ups and catastrophes and problems and misunderstandings. Many of our members belong to several boards, and those boards have one thing in common: we are united by a love of Moonlight, and that's the most important thing. MLA can't be all things to all people, but we try to serve our membership by providing them with the best resources that we can. It's all in service of the show that brought all of us together.

All of you meeting must have woven some magical fabric.......hip, hip, hooray. (we'll begin to pitch pennies to get you all together at least once a year)

Hey- awesome post! I'm glad this community is still so strong and I'm very excited about all the new things- and there's still so many 'old' threads for me to read through!! Old challenges to enter!! And and and! Oooooooo a graphics challenge!

I pretty much got everything I wished for with my new job (and more) so my time is very limited lately But I do check in when I can and read up and I'm working on a mag, so I hope you welcome infrequent visitors too!
