I'm already getting tearful during the happy part, where Mick is laughing and we realize how rare and new that is.

That's even a little harder to take than the overtones for the future ....

This is such a fabulous story!!!

I just came back for a reread. This is definitely a Moonlight classic.

Mick and Beth are blissfully ignorant of the coming trials but if we have read this treasure of a fic before, we know that we are in for a wonderful ride!

Hard to believe I haven't read this wonderful fic in the last two years, but there is no new comment since then. Mick and Beth are so joyful and clearly in love. That should have been a warning.

I still remember the first time I read this story. It totally changed my mind about fanfiction!

And now, after having read Anniversary, it feels so soothing to see Mick happy and in a playful mood! So rare, so special...so sad it is only for a little while! He is worth so much happiness to make up for all that lost time of pain and despair..
