One thing about Josh was that he seemed to be a reasonable person, except where Beth was concerned and I guess we really can't fault him too much for that. I remember in B.C. when Club Valis was raided and they found Beth and Mick there? That was the only time that I can remember when it looked like Josh used his position for personal gain (he ordered the police to pat everyone down, starting with Mick).

Oh, Jenna, is it Josh's voice from the dead? I liked him a lot in Moonlight, but..like Beth , I liked Mick more. And I 'd rather see him dead in action -what an exit- than pairing with somebody else, for example Beth's collegue. He was too good. I loved his POV, how he treated Beth with love and understanding and Mick with sympathy and acceptance. So, you made him gave them his blessing? Interesting...

Always saw Josh as one of the good guys, even though in a contest with Mick he would come in a distant second (think we all agree on that) but while I never thought of it in those terms, I think Josh would have given Mick and Beth his blessing.

Earlier in the episode, he asked Mick to watch out for her and I thought that was interesting. Those words had implications beyond what were initially intended.

I agree with everyone -- Josh was a good guy, just not the right guy.

I like this perspective of him and his coming to terms that he and Beth seemed to be headed apart. And I'm glad he saw the sincerity of Mick trying to save him. If he was able to see the tears in Mick's eyes like we did, then he truly does know Mick's heart like you wrote:

I really like this look at Josh's thoughts at the very end. We know that he trusted Mick to watch over Beth, because he had asked him to do that earlier in the day. Heartbreaking as his death was, it comforts me to believe that he knew Beth did love him (if not quite enough) and that Mick would keep her safe. Rest in peace, Josh!
